We are deeply saddened by the passing of Sarah Bednarz, a distinguished scholar, educator, and former President of the American Association of Geographers.

Sarah was a valued Editorial Board Member of the European Journal of Geography community and a supporter of EUROGEO. Through her thoughtful reviews, insightful advice, and generous commitment to the field, she made a lasting contribution to our journal and to geography education worldwide.
