Dear readers,

We are pleased to announce that Scopus has approved our request to update the subject areas of the European Journal of Geography. From now on, our journal will be indexed in the areas of cultural studies, urban studies, and demography. This is expected to be corrected with the next update of the Scopus source page in April/May 2023.

This development will significantly increase the visibility and impact of our journal and open new opportunities for authors and readers. With our current impact factor, we estimate that we will reach Q1 journals, with a strong likelihood of coming out on top in cultural studies.
